Hello World

Hello and welcome to my blog. AKA my mind palace. AKA the manifestation of my innermost thoughts and feelings. Thank you for feeding my ego. While you're here you should probably make yourself comfortable. Lucky for you, I inherited my mom's love of talking and my dad's pretentiousness, which allows for some very Claire-centered conversations with my friends surrounding art, books, and objectively bad music — sorry guys. But, as Fall Out Boy said in their 2007 classic, This Ain't a Scene, it's an Arms Race... I digress.

(Wow, one paragraph in and I'm already alluding to my middle school pop-punk phase....yikes.)

Honestly, commitment is not my strong suit. I doubt this blog will last longer than a few months but let's enjoy this while it lasts! Like a summer fling or a TikTok trend or a graphic tee from your favorite fast fashion site. 

So yay! New beginnings and whatever! 

Thank you for joining me on this adventure that I will soon abandon in favor of something more exciting! Please read my future entries or I will have to curse you with a life filled with despair and ennui. I'm sure you understand.
